"Cloud setup was smooth overall"
I’m really happy with how the cloud setup went. The deployment was straightforward, and even though I had a small login issue, support jumped in and got it sorted quickly. Overall, it was an easy experience and I’m satisfied with the result.

"I found the SAS training resources pretty..."
I found the SAS training resources helpful and they got me up to speed faster than I expected. Compared to some other software training I’ve used, the explanations are clearer, but a few lessons did feel a bit packed with information all at once. Still, it was useful overall and easy enough to follow, so I just took off one star for the denser parts
"Good tools, but the pricing part is kind of confusing"
SAS has been working well for our team overall. The tools do what we need, so no big complaints there. But the licenses are on the expensive side, and when it comes to renewal details, it could be explained more clear, because we had to look twice and still were not totally sure.

"Solid on-prem option, just takes some planning"
We use SAS on-prem, and overall it’s been dependable. The setup definitely took longer than we first expected, and upgrades aren’t something you want to rush through. But once it’s up and running, day-to-day use has been steady, and support has usually been helpful when we’ve needed them. If you’re okay with putting in the upfront effort, it makes sense for a stable on-prem setup

"Helpful docs, even if finding things took a minute"
The docs were helpful overall, though I did have to spend a little extra time searching around to find what I needed. The search could definitely be better, but once I found the right pages, they were useful. I’d still use them again next time
"Good charts, easy reports, but the setup could’ve been handled better"
I use SAS mostly for data visualization, and overall it’s been really solid. The charts are clear, the filters work the way I need them to, and it makes it easier to explain numbers to my team without turning everything into a big meeting. It did take me a little while to figure out where everything was, and the onboarding felt more confusing than it needed to be. i’m still kind of expecting an apology for how frustrating that part was. But once I got past that, it’s been smooth, and I’m happy with it so far

"Pretty handy for cleaning up messy files"
I used this to clean up a bunch of messy files for a project, and it saved me a decent amount of time. I had columns all over the place, weird spacing, duplicate rows, the usual headache. It did the job well, though I did get a little confused a couple times figuring out where certain options were. Not a huge deal, just took some clicking around with my coffee getting cold next to me. Overall, really useful for data prep when your files are a bit of a disaster

"Reports are a bit clunky"
The reporting tools feel slow, they’re a little confusing even when I’m just trying to put together basic dashboards. It gets the job done, but it’s not as smooth as I’d like.
"Solid once you focus on what you actually need"
I’ve been using sas for data governance, and overall it’s been a good experience. I tend to pay attention mostly to the parts that affect my day-to-day work, like tracking data, managing access, and making sure reports stay consistent, and it handles those well. The setup and learning curve took some patience, so I wouldn’t call it effortless, but once we got past that, it’s been reliable and useful.

"Why Was This So Hard to Find?"
I went on sas.com just trying to check some flight info and manage my booking, it was more frustrating than it should’ve been. I’m not saying the whole site is unusable or anything, but for something basic, it felt messy to get through.
The menus didn’t feel very clear to me, and I kept ending up clicking around the same sections without really getting where I needed to go. A few links also took longer to load, which made it even more annoying, and no, I don’t think it was just me being impatient.
I did eventually get it done, so it’s not like the site totally failed. But for a major airline, I think it’s fair to expect the navigation to be a lot simpler and more straightforward...

"For what I paid, I’m happy with..."
For what I paid, I’m happy with it. It’s not perfect, but it does what I needed it to do, and that’s what mattered most to me. Sometimes a purchase doesn’t have to be amazing to feel worthwhile, it just has to make life a little easier without costing too much.

"Really solid analytics tools"
I’ve been using SAS at work for reporting and digging into data a bit more deeply, and it’s been really dependable. It handles large tables better than a lot of other tools I’ve tried, and once I got used to the layout, the visuals were straightforward. There’s definitely a learning curve, but the results feel reliable. I was even telling my brother about it because he works with data too, and I said it’s one of those tools that takes a little patience but pays off.

"Fast support. Nice."
I was having trouble getting a report to run correctly, so I reached out to SAS support. i expected it to take a while, but they got back to me quickly. Better yet, it actually felt like they read my message instead of sending some generic copy-paste reply. It took a couple of back-and-forth messages, but they helped me get it fixed the same day. Solid. No complaints from me.

"The models missed more than I expected"
I was optimistic when I first tried it, but the accuracy just didn’t hold up well with our real data. I ended up feeling a bit frustrated because the models missed too much for it to be useful for us

"Surprisingly made our data work easier"
I’ll be honest, I’ve been loyal to the tools we were already using, so I didn’t expect to like this as much as I did. But after trying it out, it really did make our data stuff a lot easier and saved us some back-and-forth. I’m still attached to our old setup in some ways, but this has definitely earned a spot in the conversation.

"I had a hard time finding what..."
I had a hard time finding what I was looking for. The website seems to say one thing in one place and then something different somewhere else, so I wasn’t really sure where to go or what was correct. Overall, the interface just felt confusing to use.
"Super quick site"
The site loaded really fast for me, like, no sitting around waiting for pages to show up. Everything just opened right away, definitely a smooth experience.

"I mostly end up on sas.com when..."
I mostly end up on sas.com when I’m stuck on something and clicking around those community pages. The answers are helpful, and people explain this stuff in a way that actually makes sense. Even some older threads still helped me figure out that one little thing I was missing.
I posted a question once and got a reply quicker than I thought I would. It wasn’t a perfect fix or anything, but it pointed me in the right direction, and that was enough to keep me moving. Definitely 5 stars from me for the community support...

"I had trouble getting into my SAS..."
I had trouble getting into my SAS account and, i was already assuming it was going to turn into one of those back-and-forth support headaches.
But the support team got back to me fast, and the person helping me was patient and actually seemed to understand the issue. You could tell they weren’t just skimming and firing off a canned reply, they looked into what was really going on.
Everything was fixed the same day, which was a huge relief. Reading between the lines, it felt like they genuinely cared about sorting it out, so I’d easily give the support experience 5 stars.

"Good demo, setup felt like a lot"
I tried the trial and assumed it would be plug-and-play right away, so the setup felt like a bit much at first. That said, the demo worked well, and support was actually really helpful when I got stuck
